Its true Mr. Arnold’s Volvo Concept is hot as can be, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Audi’s A7 Sportback concept. Our own Dr. Lieberman has already dished up the goods on this slick ride, but there’s nothing better than in-the-flesh-photos. Maybe it’s because I’ve got a soft spot for mega-sized hatches and get weak-kneed over fuel-stingy diesels, but this glass-topped leviathan is right up my alley. Powered by the same 3.0-liter turbo diesel found in the Q7 we piloted across the west, there’s no doubt about this car’s ability to scoot. Plus, thanks to that bitchin hatch, there’s gobs of room out back. Who knows how much of this awesome will translate to the production version. Stay tuned for more info. [Photos by Dave Everest]
