Audi S3 and S3 Sportback now available with S tronic

Audi's recently facelifted S3 range is now available with the carmaker's S tronic dual-clutch transmission, offering quicker acceleration and better fuel-economy than the standard six-speed transmission. The S tronic reduces the time required to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for the S3 by two-tenths of a second compared to the manual model. More specifically, it takes the S3 just 5.5 seconds to complete the dash, while the four-door Sportback is one-tenth of a second behind at 5.6 seconds. At the same time, fuel consumption for the S3 has improved to 28.3mpg (8.3L/100km) with CO2 emissions of just 193g/km. 2009 Audi A3 facelift and A3 Sportback
